Leap into a summer of dance at the Ballet Studio of Carmel! Located in the vibrant Arts and Design District, our summer camps offer something for every dancer. Whether you're exploring ballet, musical theater, or choreography, our half-day and full day-camps are perfect for making new friends and mastering new moves. With programs for all ages and skill levels, our experienced instructors are ready to welcome you into our community of creativity and fun. Ballet Intensive Camp | ages 12+
JUNE 10-14, 9am to 4pm | $350
Intermediate/Advanced dancers are invited to hone their skills in this ”Intensive” workshop week. Each day will begin with technique class, followed by pointe or pre-pointe training, modern and contemporary dance. After lunch, students will learn repertory and choreography to perform on the last day of camp. All participants in the Ballet Intensive Camp will also have the opportunity to perform on stage at CarmelFest on July 3rd at 5pm!
CHOREOGRAPHY CAMP | ages 9+
JUNE 17-21, 12PM to 3pm | $200
Did you know that there is a technique for creating and crafting dances? Find out what goes into making an exciting dance piece with specific lessons and activities designed to strengthen your creative voice as a choreographer. Campers will have the opportunity to create their own solos or small group numbers for a performance at The Cat that weekend!
Musical Theater Camp
(Ages: 8+) June 24-28, 9am-12pm | $200 half-day
(Ages: Middle school+) June 24-28, 9am-4pm | $350 full-day
Campers will sing, dance, and act their way through a fun-filled week of theater and prepare a special performance for Friday. Audrey Larkin (managing director of The Cat) will join us as director and instructor to help us create a mini-production that will also be performed on stage at CarmelFest on July 3rd at 5pm!
Junior Ballet Intensive | Ages 8-11
July 15-19, 9am-4pm | $350
Find out what it takes to be a serious dancer in our Junior Intensive! Campers will experience the life of a dancer with a week full of classes, rehearsals, and a performance on the final day. Each day will include ballet technique, pre-pointe conditioning, modern, contemporary, and rehearsals, as well as a special costume crafting time!
Dance Adventure Camp | Ages 5-7
July 22-26, 9-11am | $150
Calling all adventurers! Join us in an exciting week of dance adventures. Move your body, get creative, and most importantly, have fun. Each day will include creative movement, different forms of dance technique and a crafting time. We will have a presentation of what we’ve learned at the end of camp on Friday.
